There's so much you want him to know about perimenopause

You don't have to explain it all yourself.
You've been reading the articles, listening to the podcasts, and talking to your friends and doctors about perimenopause. But, if your partner is missing from the process, you could be missing out on the support you most need. Most men want to show up for us, but so often, the responsibility of teaching them how falls on us: the ones already stretched thin. That emotional labor, on top of everything perimenopause already asks of us, is a lot to carry. Here's your chance to let someone else do that teaching for you.
This September marks the third time we're hosting "Where'd My Wife Go?!", a seminar for men partnered with women in perimenopause. Twice now, men have shown up with curiosity and openness (and maybe a tad bit of trepidation! 😉), and left with a real understanding of what perimenopause actually is and how to support their partners with more compassion, patience, and collaboration. These men have gained not only a new perspective on perimenopause, they've also found language for their own midlife experience and connected to a room full of other men navigating the same season, often for the first time.
"My husband went and it was awesome. He's been much more understanding since the seminar, and he felt seen and heard too.
10/10, highly recommend!"

This is the kind of experience I want for the men in your life (and the kind of support I want for you!). But, the only way to get him into the room with us is to ask. Asking your partner to attend is its own kind of self-advocacy, which might be exactly what this chapter of life is asking of you. Naming what would actually help, out loud, without over-explaining or apologizing for it, is a small but powerful way to take up some space with what you need.
Led by Matt Sullivan, Facilitator & Educator, MSEd, this seminar will help your partner:
~ Learn what perimenopause actually is (and isn't)
~ Understand how it's showing up for you in body, mood, identity, and desire
~ Walk away with real, usable ways to support you with compassion
~ Connect with other men figuring this out, too
